The Barwon Coast Education Hub is your gateway to exploring our unique coastal environment through engaging programs, hands-on resources, and rewarding volunteer opportunities.
Whether you’re a teacher looking for curriculum-aligned activities, a community member keen to learn more about coastal conservation, or someone eager to make a difference, we have something for you. Most of our free programs take place outdoors, immersing participants in the stunning landscapes of the Barwon River and coastline. This is Wadawurrung Country. We acknowledge the Wadawurrung People as the Traditional Owners of the land, waters, seas and skies of Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, 13th Beach and Breamlea. We honour and say Nyatne to Elders past, present and future whose ancestors, for thousands of years, have cared for this part of Dja (Country). We are committed as an organisation to meaningfully work together with Traditional Owners to make Wadawurrung Culture and Country strong.
