Barwon River Boating Channel,
Barge Towage and Beacon Piling Operations

Date: Effective from 12 February 2025

Details:
Mariners are advised that barge towage and beacon piling operations will take place in the Barwon Heads river north of the Barwon Heads vehicle bridge from Wednesday 12, 2025 for a period of approximately 3 weeks. Piling barge GEMINAE UVI1461535, 6.4m length x 3.2m beam will be used for piling operations with high powered towage vessels up to 8m conducting towage operations.

Approximate positions of the piling barge can be found in the full document via the button below.

Mariners are advised to navigate with extreme caution in the vicinity of the beacon piling works.
