Barwon Heads Triathlon – Barwon River – Sunday 23 February 2025

 

Date: Effective from 23 February 2025

 

Details:
Mariners are advised of a triathlon swim event in the Barwon River from Ozone
Jetty to the Barwon Heads Vehicle Bridge – Barwon Heads, starting at 7.00am and
finishing at 10.00am on Sunday 23 February 2025.
Buoys will be set out from 7.00am onwards to provide a marked swimming course
for competitors. Water safety will be provided by the Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving
club. Competitors will swim on eastern side of the marker buoys will be placed in
approx. 1.5m depth on the shoreline side.

Mariners are advised to exercise caution when navigating within the vicinity of the Ozone Jetty and Barwon Heads Vehicle Bridge.
