Barwon Heads – Barwon River Boating Channel-South of Barwon Heads
Channel Safety Realignment – Stage 1
Date: Effective from 20 November 2023
Details:
Mariners are advised that two (2) new temporary lit Starboard Buoys and one (1) lit
Port Starboard buoy have been placed south of the Barwon Heads pedestrian bridge
in the Barwon River Boating Channel to provide a safer navigable route for all transiting
vessels.
Temporary buoy approximate positions are as follows (WGS84):
