BARWON RIVER, Australian Sailing – Little Tackers Sailing Event

Details:

Mariners are advised of a sailing event organised by the Australian Sailing Association in conjunction with the Barwon Heads Sailing Club that is being held on the Barwon River on the following dates:

1.  9 January – 12 January 2023, 7.45am – 1.30pm
2.  16 January – 20 January 2023, 8am – 6pm

The event will occur off the beach north of the Ozone Jetty in a set aside area which is bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 38°16.519’S 144°29.835’E  2. 38°16.576’S  144°30.082’E  3. 38°16.751’S  144°29.953’E
2. 38°16.885’S 144°29.887’E 5. 38°16.886’S   144°29.726’E  6. 38° 16.753’S  144° 29.791’E
3. 38°16.700’S 144°29.757’E

Mariners are advised to exercise caution when navigating in the Barwon River in the vicinity of this event.
