Temporary beach access closure: 31W

Published on 10 July 2023

Please note we have temporarily closed beach access at 31W (Cylinders) at 13th Beach.

The access has been closed as the extreme tidal surge over the weekend washed away a large amount of sand from the bottom of the staircase, creating a significant drop at the bottom of the staircase, making it unsafe.

Our dedicated team will monitor this closely over the next week and let the community know via social media and website when the staircase access reopens.

We encourage all beach users to ensure they observe any safety signage.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
